I’m Charlie, a freelance music composer, songwriter/producer and creative director. I’ve done a lot of sound design work too and I continue to thrive in disrupting the boundary between music and sound. 

I cut my teeth working with Squeak E Clean Studios (fka Nylon Studios) where I rose up the ranks from making coffees and picking up lunches to becoming their first Associate Creative Director in Australia. I still love making coffee though. 

I’ve composed for film, TV and brands across the globe working with a wide range of clients including Apple, Google, Samsung, Netflix, Meta, Nintendo and many more. My composition work in media has achieved #1 trending on Youtube, a Webby Honoree and AWARD finalists. I’ve also been awarded as a B&T 30 Under 30 Creative Finalist. 

Outside of composing for media I work as a music producer and songwriter collaborating with a range of artists across the genre domains of Pop, Hip Hop, Country, K-Pop, Electronic and Indie. Songs I’ve written have charted up to number 13 in the UK Club Charts and received critical acclaim from Triple J, BBC Radio and a variety of international blogs. Touring Australia I’ve had the privilege of sharing stages with artists such as Vera Blue and Pnau. 

I also try to make time for my solo project ‘Patches Paradise’ and to soak up as much sunshine as possible.
